Weekend Hiking Trip

Dear Students,

This weekend we will be having a hike at Red Rock Canyon for all students and teachers of Team 21 to get in shape for Japan. We will start meeting for the hike at 9:30 and will head out at 9:40 a.m. Saturday morning. The trails at Red Rock Canyon are easy, medium, and hard. You don’t have to come but we encourage you too. You can invite anybody you want. Red Rock Canyon does allow dogs but if you bring one then it must be on a leash. This hike is not associated with Harrison District Two so you ARE responsible for your own transportation to the hike. There is also a possibility that there will not be chaperones since this is an out of school thing. If your parents would like to volunteer to be a hike leader then have them contact me at jesse_l_1227@yahoo.com. Some teachers might be going and if they do, then they will lead a hike. Make sure you bring water or Gatorade or something to keep you hydrated.

Directions:

From I-25 take the Cimarron Street exit west.

Cimarron will turn to Highway 24.

Turn left onto Ridge Road. Red Rock Canyon is on the south side of the street.
