A poem by Roger Arzate

Whoosh I go to the air
The ground looks smaller
The people wait until I hit the ground
I come closer to them

Crash I hit the ground fast
They rush towards me
They get to me and I begin to roll
Further and further from them

I gain speed by the second
I am stopped for a moment
Then I go to the air and crash with a net
That is the life of a soccer ball like me.
