The Law of Attraction is a new law, that centers around thought. It is a law that pushes the concept of positive thinking. Positive and negative thinking are said to send an equal amount of signals into the world, and the world around you reacts to it. The secret of the law is that you are supposed to think about what you want, and think about it positively. When you think about negative things, they become reality, and your life is miserable. But, if you think about life in a positive way, you gain everything you want, and you become extremely successful. Thinking is nonstop, but apparently, you have the ability to control all of the thoughts you think. Once you gain control, your life begins to turn around. You become more confident, you get everything you’ve ever wanted, and you’re life is better overall. Who wouldn’t want extreme success, tons of money, a great job, and a wonderful significant other, right?
The problem is, I don’t believe in the law. In order for the law to work, you have to truly believe in it. So, is the law not working for me because I don’t “truly believe”? I don’t think so. My life is in my control, but not through my thoughts. It’s completely illogical for your mind to control the world around you, and what happens to you. Life just isn’t designed that way. Just to prove this point, I wanted a milkshake for a week, and thought about it constantly. It’s been seven days, and still no milkshake. Am I supposed to think about it for months at a time? Is it going to just appear in front of me? Is the law about chance, as well? There are too many questions and too many faults. The law is a scam, and is misleads people. The people who seemingly believe in the law just tell you to think about what you want, but they don’t tell you in what way, or how long, or how the item will come to you. How am I supposed to accept something that tells me that life may or may not give me what I want, as long as I just think about it enough?
The law is full of holes and faults. First of all, the law isn’t even a law. The “law” of attraction says that you may or may not get what you want, just as long as you think about it. What kind of junk is that? Unlike the “law” of attraction, the law of gravity is scientifically proven and works every time, not sometimes when life feels like making it work. The law of gravity states that every particle of matter in the universe attracts every other particle with a force that is proportional to their mass. It’s all science, not chance or hope. Another thing is, the law seems to attract those who don’t quite have their heads on their shoulders in a stable way. A person who is attracted to the “law” may have money issues, or a horrible job, and just want an easy way to get out of it. They think, “Oh, if I can just think about having more money or a great job, it’s just going to come to me. That’s great!” What they don’t realize is that what they’re trying is just part of a huge scam.
Sure, thoughts do play a big part of our life. With a new thought or idea, people in history have invented life changing objects. Thoughts get you in the mind set to accomplish things in your life, and give you the determination you need to get somewhere. Thoughts are directly connected with creativity, and through thoughts, a masterpiece may be born. But, thoughts do not make money magically appear. There’s only one thing that does that: Hard work. Perspiration and inspiration get the job done. They are what get you that dream job, or the money you need to live on; not thoughts. The “law” of attraction is leading people in the wrong direction. It’s leading them into a life that gets them no where, and teaches them that life has those little shortcuts. Well, I’m afraid not, kids. The “law” of attraction is just a scam, and don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise.
