It starts with a smile
It turns into a kiss
Yet, the tears are waiting all the while

The happiness begins to fade
The memories are here to stay
Memories, memories that bring pain

The tears are rolling now
The dreams become nightmares
As the loneliness spreads around

Strength escapes without a sound
